How EA FC 25 Hackers Are Ruining The FUT Market

The EA FC25 The market is being ruined by PC players using cheats to earn coins, making star players unavailable to those who play by the rules. After speaking to traders and investigating Discord servers, Dexerto’s EA FC expert Nathan Warby discovered more about the underhanded practice.

If you play EA FC 25 on PC, you may have noticed that the Ultimate Team market is very different from the shared PlayStation and Xbox markets. Lower rated fodder players are worth a fraction of their console counterparts metacards are virtually extinct.

For example, Kylian Mbappeespecially upgraded versions, are hardly found on PC even if you search all the way up to its maximum coin limit. The reason for this is simple: hackers try to steal millions of in-game coins through trickery, drastically changing the value of each card.

When I discussed the situation, well-known trader ‘Jake_FutTrading’ explained to me that players use cheats to earn the best prices FUT Champions rewards in “less than an hour” across multiple “burner” accounts. This virtually guarantees them around 400,000 coins per account, which they then transfer back to their ‘main’ account.

“This causes a HUGE amount of inflation on most meta cards in the game, most of them (costing) a million or more, and lowers the cost of everything else,” Jake added. “It makes having a good team possible, but a great team virtually impossible.”

Fellow Ultimate Team trader Charlie ‘Tropi’ also spoke to me and explained exactly how this massive influx of coins into a handful of accounts is changing prices.

“What we are seeing is essentially an infinite number of coins being injected into the market. This is unnatural and as such the market is being affected,” he said. “Simply put, more supply and more coins have been injected into the market, and there is not enough demand from the smaller player base to keep up.”

The working theory among traders is that cheaters are one of the main causes of this problem, but proving this is another matter. With this in mind, I joined a well-known hacking distributor’s Discord to do further research.

Not only did this reveal explicit mentions of the FUT Champs trick, with players using it to collect coins across multiple accounts, but it also provided some insight into how exactly they manipulated the game to their advantage.

One of the most commonly mentioned cheats allowed them to adjust the strengths and weaknesses of certain gameplay elements known as ‘sliders’.

“Reduce your shot error to 1. Maybe increase shot power to 60ish, but I think anything more than that is too obvious,” one hacker recommended – this would make their shots infinitely more accurate.

They added: “I’m trying to find the balance between giving my opponent normal settings, but I have a clear lead.”

There were also multiple mentions of a hack that immediately disconnected the opponent. This means they only need to score one goal to take the lead and then take their opponent out of the match to win quickly and easily.

This would also explain how they are able to get through so many matches in such a short time, as they can use sliders to change the match in their favor before ending the game early, rather than having to play the full twenty matches. minutes.

EA FC 25 Hackers Discuss Disconnects

Based on other conversations on this Discord channel, I can confirm that hackers used these tricks on multiple accounts to repeatedly complete FUT Champions. This appears to be done by creating a brand new account and running EA Play Pro, which gives you access to EA FC 25 at no additional cost.

Once all the games have been played and they have earned a huge amount of coins on the burner account, they will transfer the coins back to their main Ultimate Team account. Although EA goes against the mode’s terms and conditions and EA has taken steps to identify the more obvious cases, this is usually done by listing a player on the main profile before using any of the burners to use them for much high expectations to buy.

Obviously the rewards will vary depending on which players are in it, but I saw one player brag about earning two million coins in one weekend, and this wasn’t the first time.

So while the smaller player base and other factors may play a role, it’s clear that the EA FC 25 Ultimate Team market on PC is being drastically affected by hackers and their exploits.

We’ve seen this come into effect just over a month after the launch of EA FC 25, and traders have painted a bleak picture if this is allowed to continue for much longer.

“Typically, we see a less stable market for PC as the player base starts to dwindle throughout the gaming cycle,” Tropi said. “However, it is very clear that unless EA acts quickly, it will become a huge mess much sooner.”

Jake agreed: “If EA doesn’t stop the hackers, it won’t be possible to quickly build a true ‘Ultimate Team’. Top cards are completely unattainable if you are a ‘casual’ player.’ The best chance to get them is to buy coins, but this is against the Terms of Service.
