FORT WAYNE — On Nov. 15, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra will be back in Fort Wayne for another breathtaking performance — and a donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters.

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is back in Fort Wayne for The Lost Christmas Eve Tour, a rock holiday extravaganza full of lights and music. Make sure you start the holidays off right with this extraordinary experience that has an added benefit: helping fund one-on-one mentorship matches to give youth in our communities the role models they need.

Mentoring has proven time and time again the transformative power of having a friend and guiding adults in the lives of young people. Big brothers Big sisters The community-based program includes an adult mentor meeting with the child every two weeks for an activity in the community. On-site programs take place at the child’s school, with adult mentors meeting their Little once a week for lunch. Both increase academic performance, self-confidence and social skills and provide a supportive friend you can rely on.

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra will once again benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters with proceeds from their tour. Over the past decade they have been great champions for BBBS, raising money to create matches that are invaluable to the children involved. One dollar from every ticket sold for Friday’s concert will once again go to this local nonprofit organization this year, so be sure to take advantage of this exciting opportunity.
