Review of the Saints 2024 draft class after Week 10

There was a possibility that Payton could start on Sunday with McKinstry out, but unfortunately we didn’t get to see his debut at cornerback for the Saints. The team went with Shemar Jean-Charles into the corner as an experienced vet, but it’s entirely possible they didn’t want to rush Payton back into a major role while dealing with an injury.

On special teams, however, Payton continues to impress by rushing down the field and getting to the ball carrier.
