The full I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! 2024 lineup revealed

This year I’m a celebrity…Get me out of here! is almost underway, which means it’s time to find out which famous faces will enter the jungle.

The new series returns on November 17 with a new batch of 10 celebrities ready to take on nail-biting challenges and gruesome eating tasks. they compete to be crowned King or Queen of the jungle.

Among them are TV personalities Coleen Rooney, Strictly star Oti Mabuse And McFly singer Danny Jones.

They hope to follow in the footsteps of presenter and former Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompsonwho was crowned the show’s newest winner in December 2023.

Below you will find the full line-up…

Oti Mabuse

Oti Mabuse, best known for her six-year stint as Come strictly dance professional, has said she is absolutely “terrified” of snakes ahead of her debut on I’m A Celebrity.

Mabuse has won Strictly twice, with celebrity partners Kelvin Fletcher and Bill Bailey, and she currently appears as a judge on Dancing on ice.

Speaking about what she thinks her role will be ahead of her arrival in Australia, she said she will be the “fun dancing mom” and hopes to teach her campmates some new moves.

The dancer said she signed up for the show because she wants to get back to her “adventurous and fun” self after the birth of her daughter in December 2023.

“Now that I have had my daughter, I want to go back to the adventurous and fun Oti. I feel ready for a change and to do something completely different. I won’t have make-up, concealer or eyelashes – it will be nice to be relaxed.”

She added: “As a new mother, I’m going to use it to my advantage. I’m going to catch up on a whole year of sleep!

Alan Halsall

Kroningsstraat star Alan Halsall, who has played Tyrone Dobbs on the soap for 26 years, joked that his I’m A Celebrity appearance is the ‘worst kept secret’ after he had to pull out last year due to major knee surgery.

“It feels like the worst kept secret ever! It was a bit of a shock when I suffered a knee injury last year,” he said before heading into the jungle.

Halsall admitted that he only eats “bland food” at home, so he isn’t particularly concerned about the small portions in camp. However, he did say that it will be extremely difficult to leave his daughter Sienna behind.

“I’m very emotional about Sienna, so it will be interesting to see how I deal with it. I tend to hide my emotions, but with Sienna I’m not very good at all – I think I’ll have multiple blubs. She’s eleven and I hope I don’t embarrass her.”

Jane Moore

Loose women star and journalist Jane Moore follows in the footsteps of fellow panellists Janet Street-Porter, Frankie Bridge and Charlene White. Moore, who first appeared on the ITV panel show in 1999, said she thinks her role in the camp will be a “shoulder to cry on”.

“I have been on this planet for a long time and I will be the person to try to help them,” she admitted. “My two daughters are so ready for me to do it and my youngest keeps telling me, ‘Mom, it’s going to be great.’ If there is a young person in there who is struggling, I know it will speak to my mother’s side.”

Describing herself as an ‘organized person’, she also admitted that she tries to look at the Bushtucker Trials in a logical way. “I like to think of myself as a brave person, but that remains to be seen,” she said. “I’m sure a lot of people think that before they go through those trials and then courage goes out the window!”

Dean McCullough

Northern Ireland’s BBC Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough has admitted he was “terrified of everything” ahead of his arrival in the jungle.

McCullough began presenting for the channel in 2020, replacing Clara Amfo, and in September 2022 replaced Scott Mills and Chris Stark, alongside Vicky Hawkesworth, as presenters of Radio 1’s afternoon show.

“I’m terrified of everything and the more I think about being put in the ground with fifty snakes or having those green fly things that bite pour over me – well, there’s just no point in thinking about it because otherwise I won’t get on the plane!” he said.

He added that he once saw a cockroach in a hostel he was staying at and immediately checked out.

“I’m going to give it my all,” he said. “I want to try to get a number of stars for everyone. I’ve traveled the world, I’ve backpacked, I’ve taught in orphanages, and I’ve been through the mill several times. But I’m 32 now and it’s time to start a new chapter and learn a little more about who I am. A three-week therapy session is the perfect way to describe this.”

Tulisa Contostavlos

N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos has admitted that she has not participated in the program in the past because she was so afraid.

However, she has now said she is ready to overcome her fears.

“I’m a big softie and I’m an emotional person,” she said. “I’ll probably have a hard time in the first few days because doing something like this is a big deal for me. I haven’t been in the spotlight like this in a while and I’ve been avoiding it out of irrational fear. I’ll probably be most emotional when I go in for the first time. It will take a while to get to where I am, but I know I will get past that.

The singer described herself as the ‘mummy of N-Dubz’ and added that she hopes to show her ‘true authentic self’ to fans and ‘connect with people’.

“My main mission is to be my true authentic self,” she vows. “If I, as my authentic self, connect with people in a massive way, then that must mean I’m doing something right in life. But I’m not going to look for it. This is not a career move for me either. I will always go back to N-Dubz and this is a once in a lifetime experience.”

Melvin Odoom

Radio 1 DJ and presenter Melvin Odoom has said he was inspired to go into the jungle by his friends who had already been on the show, such as Marvin Humes, who was on the show last year.

“Marvin gave me some advice about what to expect in camp,” he said. “Over the years, a lot of my friends have done it – Joel Dommett who I love very much, Roman Kemp, Jordan North and I’m very close to Marvin,” he said.

The presenter said he was worried about the lack of food at camp, and that he becomes a “different person” if he hasn’t eaten enough. “I’m Moody Melvin! It’s rare, but I will do my best to do all the Trials,” he said.

Odoom said it wasn’t the creepy crawlies that worried him, but that he is aware of his loud snoring at night.

“Snoring is my biggest fear. I tried to train myself, because disturbing people’s sleep is a big problem. I could be the enemy of the camp if my snoring comes out. It’s loud!”

Coleen Rooney

The TV personality and wife of former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is said to have landed the biggest deal in the show’s history, surpassing those of Farage and presenter Noel Edmonds with a fee of more than £1.5 million.

Prior to her arrival in the jungle, Rooney, who recently won the high-profile ‘Wagatha Christie’ defamation case brought against her by Rebekkah Vardysaid she has no phobias and is up for the challenge.

What will she miss most when she is away from home? “Apart from my family and friends, my phone and a pen and notepad. I like writing things down.”

Rooney explained why this is the right time to go into the jungle, saying it was a combination of timing and her children being old enough.

“It’s been year after year that I’ve been asked to be on a show and it’s always been a straight no,” she said. “Over the years several things have happened in my life and my children were also very young. But they are now at an age where I can go away for so long. I also think it’s time to have a challenge for me and do something different. It took many, many years, but I’m finally doing it.”

Would she like to be crowned ‘Queen of the Jungle’? “Of course it would be great to win,” she says. ‘But if I don’t, I can see the children! Whatever I do in life, I like to put my all into it and if I go there, it would be nice to stay until the end.

Barry McGuigan

Former boxing champion Barry McGuigan has said he believes he will take on the role of referee in the camp.

“I acted as a referee and appeaser The kitchen of hell. But this is different. A completely different set of circumstances. It will be a challenge,” he said. “I can imagine that I am one of the oldest and you can look at that calmly. I might get irritated. I really don’t know.”

He added: “I’m the comforter when the boys are having a tough day in the gym and they haven’t saved particularly well. I put my arm around their shoulder and say, “Listen, that’s just how it is. Tomorrow it will be different.’ So I’m going back to the ‘older’ position.”

McGuigan admitted that he can’t cook – it’s his wife who does the cooking – so he won’t be much help at camp meals.

“I still can’t cook! My wonderful wife does all that for me. I would like to help. If no one else can do it, I’d like to contribute. But I’m pretty good at cleaning,” he said. “My wife and my three sons and my seven grandchildren come over, and I end up doing the cleaning up. We have a good old form of teamwork.”

GK Barry

Loose women star and content creator GK Barry – real name Grace Keeling – admitted she is “terrified of everything” that awaits her I’m a celebrity arrival.

She explained: “I haven’t slept in a month. I’m afraid of the Processes and I’m really afraid of everything. For me, the eating test is the worst thing you can do to a person. You don’t know who you’ll click with, but hopefully I’ll be in a good place after the first week.”

The influencer added that she will miss her friend and cat the most when she is in the jungle.

“If you miss home and all you want is comfort people, it’s going to be hard if they’re not there,” she explained. “But my girlfriend is also very enthusiastic about me and thinks I will do very well.”

She then joked: “I got her a cardboard cutout so it won’t be weird if I’m gone!”

Danny Jones

McFly singer Danny Jones could follow in the footsteps of his bandmate Dougie Poynter, who won the show in 2011. The singer, who is currently a judge on the ITV singing competition The voice, has said he’s ready to be pushed out of his comfort zone and learn more about himself.

In preparation for camp, he said he cut out coffee and eat less to reduce his appetite.

When asked if his bandmates would give him a hard time if he didn’t win, Jones said he didn’t expect that. “They are competitive, the boys. But I don’t think so. I don’t want to think about winning, it’s too much pressure.”
