Marvel Unveils Disney+ Series IRONHEART Trailer at D23

Marvel Studios showed up at D23 to show off a bunch of their upcoming projects and one of the things they shared was footage from the upcoming Disney+ series. Heart of Iron.

Producer Ryan Coogler came to present the images and stars of the film. Dominique Thorne, Anthony Ramos, Lyric Ross, Aliyah of Regan And Alden Ehrenreich offered some information about the series.

The footage has leaked online, so if you want, you can watch a low-quality version of it below. I’m still not sure about this series, I’ll just say it would be nice if it exceeded my expectations.

Marvel Television Heart of Iron “pits technology against magic when Riri Williams (Thorne), a genius young inventor determined to make her mark on the world, returns to her hometown of Chicago.

“Her unique approach to building iron suits is brilliant, but in the pursuit of her ambitions she finds herself entangled with the mysterious but charming Parker Robbins aka “The Hood” (Ramos).

The series also features Lyric Ross, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam And Anji White. Chinaka Hodge is the main writer and executive producer; the episodes are directed by Sam Bailey And Angela Barnes.

The six-episode series was created by Chinaka Hodgeand the story follows Riri Williams, a young engineering genius and the creator of the most advanced armor since Iron Man. The series will take place after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

It has been said previously that the theme of Heart of Iron will be “Magic vs Tech”. Producer Nate Moore said he sees the Ironheart series as a direct sequel to Wakanda Forever.

He said: “This show is a result of the love we have for her in this movie and even on the script. So when we were talking to (Dominique Throne) at the beginning, it was obvious that the character had been written on the script and she was the one and only person we had talked about for the role. When she said yes and we were writing the script, we also started talking to (Ryan Coogler) about what the show could be.

“So the series is a direct sequel to the movie. And (Riri Williams) brings the experiences she had in that movie back to her home at MIT. And her adventures have interesting repercussions that will set her on a fun path.”

Ironheart will be released in 2025.
