26 locally made bombs seized, two detained

Tirupati: In a major operation conducted on Sunday, police seized 26 country-made bombs from a house located near an electrical substation in Manipireddipalli, Pakala mandal, Tirupati district. The raid led to the arrest of two suspects, identified as Babu and Gajendra.

According to authorities, the accused claimed to have made explosives to ward off wild boars. Pakala police have registered a case and launched a thorough investigation into the incident. The suspects have been remanded in judicial custody while the investigation continues.
