DISCUSSION:

Last weekend’s rain was certainly much needed in Eastern Kentucky. Some places have certainly received more than others. We ranged from 0.10 inches in Warren County to as much as 0.58 inches in Menifee County.

We started your Monday with mostly cloudy skies, then ended it with mostly sunny skies, which will lead us to clear skies this evening.

YOUR FIRST WARNING: COOLER TEMPERATURES ON TUESDAY

We will remain sunny on Tuesday, but we will see a front push through during the day. This front will bring in much cooler air, with highs only reaching the mid-50s.

This is part one of a two-part cooldown. We will bounce back into the mid 60s on Wednesday.

YOUR FIRST WARNING: OUR NEXT CHANCE OF RAIN

Rain chances increase as we head into Wednesday evening and all day Thursday, with things clearing Thursday evening.

YOUR FIRST WARNING: ANOTHER COOLDOWN

We’ll see another cooldown Thursday with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. We’ll stay in the upper 50s and low 60s Friday before warming up for the weekend with highs in the mid 60s for Saturday and nearly 70 by Sunday.

Enjoy your evening!
