Fans are now convinced his character is being axed after Adam, 23, shared an update on another project outside of the show.

The TV star has announced that he will star in a new movie called Denial, which focuses on the themes of men’s mental health health.

Adam shared pictures from the upcoming film, but it immediately led Corrie fans to speculate that Aadi had left the cobbles.

He further fueled the rumours after posting new portraits on his Instagram – something actors tend to do when they’re about to leave.

One fan asked the star: “Is that why you’re not in Corrie?”

But TV star Adam did not respond to the comment – despite replying to other fans.

Soap fans will be devastated to see the actor leave if he does.

In January, Aadi was rushed to hospital in heartbreaking scenes.

The doctor confirmed to Dev, Asha and Amy that his collapse was due to carbon monoxide poisoning, before adding that he was lucky that someone found him in time.

This happened after Asha found out that her ex Nina and her brother Aadi had shared a kiss.

Asha immediately felt guilty for not noticing that something was wrong, but she forgot to tell her friends and family that she had come to the apartment before Amy.

When she went to see Aadi, the twins made amends, with Asha remaining silent about his visit to her property.

Aadi encouraged her to reconcile with Nina as well, and when she arrived at the hospital, she told her girlfriend that she had forgiven her for kissing her brother.

But Nina’s hopes of things returning to normal were dashed when Asha added: “You know, things haven’t been good between us for months.

“Maybe it just confirmed what I already thought…”

Nina replied, “Which one?” and Asha said, “That’s what we had… it’s over. I’m sorry.”

Asha quickly stood up and left the hospital waiting room, while a shocked Nina burst into tears.

Viewers took to X – formerly Twitter – to discuss the latest Alahan twins drama.

Someone wrote: “Is Adi dying? Does he have a gas leak or co2?!”

Another added: “Aadi’s application to MI6 has fallen through.”
