11-year-old boy charged with disturbing the peace

An 11-year-old boy has been charged with a number of public order offences in Belfast in July.

The charges include rioting, three counts of possession of Molotov cocktails in suspicious circumstances and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

He was also charged with throwing firebombs and causing an explosion likely to endanger life or cause serious damage to property in the Broadway area of ​​south Belfast on Monday, July 15.

He is due to appear in Belfast Youth Court on Friday, September 6.
