What is Tate McRae doing in Sydney? The secret fan event

Tate McRae is in Australia and getting ready to perform in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. However, the ‘2 Hands’ singer makes a mysterious stop in a Sydney car park on November 12 and invites fans to join her.

On November 11, McRae posted to her Instagram stories: “Doing something in Sydney tomorrow at 3pm on the roof of the Entertainment Quarter car park. Pull up.” On November 12, she posted a second story that read: “Fifteen today Sydneyyyyy. @ The roof terrace of the Entertainment Quarter car park. come hang.”

The unexplained plan has fans wondering what exactly she is inviting them to. The prevailing theory is that she is filming a music video for her upcoming song ‘2 Hands’, which will be released on November 14th. The fact that the event is taking place in a parking lot is in keeping with McRae’s newest brand. The singer and dancer leaned against it moto fashion and cars for her ‘2 Hands’ promotional material. Additionally, her music video for “It’s Ok I’m Ok” was filmed in a parking garage.

The title of McRae’s upcoming song could also be a reference to the Australian film Two handsstarring Heather Ledger and Rose Byrne. Shot in Sydney, the 1999 film is a crime comedy that launched the careers of two of Australia’s biggest acting exports.

Another theory is that McRae planned an impromptu rooftop concert with her Australian friend, The Kid Laroi. Laroi is also currently touring Australia, with fans predicting the couple will join forces when their dates overlap. However, Laroi’s next show is in Brisbane on the 14th, before returning to Sydney on the 16th.

One thing is certain: today at 3 p.m. we will know what is going on!
