Don’t spend a lot of money on fancy decor – my Dollar Tree DIY looks like Tom Ford but only costs $3.75 plus spray paint

A DIY fan shared the luxe decor project she made using affordable Dollar Tree purchases.

She explained that she was able to recreate luxury interior design without having to pay the high price.

Essence (@enhancedbyessence) shared Dollar Tree’s DIY tips in a viral TikTok video.

“My daughter, you don’t need to spend a lot of money on luxury decoration,” she said.

She went shopping at her local Dollar Tree and purchased artificial pink flowers, a gift box, and Styrofoam for $1.25 each.

The supplies cost him a total of just $3.75.

Back home, she laid out all the supplies on her porch and began spray painting her gift box with black paint.

She noted that viewers can opt for whatever color their heart desires.

Then she spray painted her plastic flowers a deeper shade of pink.

Essence opened the gift box, filled it with Styrofoam, and placed the cut flowers she had purchased inside.

Taking a printed Tom Ford logo, she stuck it onto the front of her gift box using GOT2B hairspray.

“Y’all, I’m out of glue, but guess what? If it can hold a wig, it can hold paper,” she joked.

“Miss Boujee on a budget.”

People thanked her for her creative project idea and praised her ability to think on her feet.
