OHIO (WSAZ) – An Amber Alert issued Monday for a 7-year-old girl who went missing in northeastern Ohio was canceled later that evening, according to Ohio Amber Alert.

As of 9:45 p.m., the agency had provided no other information.

OHIO (WSAZ) – An Amber Alert was issued Monday for a 7-year-old girl who was abducted in northeast Ohio.

She was described as 4 feet tall and weighing 55 pounds, according to Ohio Amber Alert. She was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, black pants and black and white shoes.

She is from Empire, Ohio, in Jefferson County.

The suspect is described as Charles Alexander, 43. He has brown hair, brown eyes, is 6 feet tall and weighs 205 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark gray sweatshirt and jeans.

The press release does not state whether the victim and the suspect are related.

Officials say a previously suspected vehicle was found empty. The current suspect vehicle is a 2023 Ford F-650 U-Haul truck with Arizona license plate AL 74169.
