Person seriously injured after car crashes into Glendale home

GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — One person is in critical condition after a car crashed into a Glendale home Sunday evening.

At 7:40 p.m., police responded to reports of a crash in a neighborhood southeast of 67th Avenue and Beardsley Road.

When they arrived on scene, they saw the car crash into a house. Police said there were people in the home and one of them is currently in the hospital with serious injuries.

According to police, it is unclear how the driver lost control of the vehicle. An impairment cannot be ruled out.

No details are known at this time about the driver or the victim. It is not known if there are any other injuries.

Speed and limitation are believed to have played a role in the accident. No other information has been released.
