Man seriously injured in shooting in South Lawrence Monday evening

LAWRENCE, Kan. (KCTV) – A man was taken to a trauma center after being seriously injured in a shooting Monday evening.

Lawrence police said officers were notified of a shooting in the 3300 block of Iowa Street at 7:45 p.m.

They discovered that a man had been shot and seriously injured. He was then taken to a trauma center.

According to police, the shooting did not take place near the Walmart, but in a nearby neighborhood. They also told KCTV5 that no suspects had been arrested, and it is believed there may be more than one.
