A video by A Cape Town Resident shocked by closed police station has been making rounds on social media.

In one TikTok video uploaded by @dluntsha, the woman and other people are seen outside the Central South African Police Services of Cape Town. The woman said the station was closed. She added that it was her first time seeing a service that was supposed to be closed 24 hours a day.

The TikTok user said yes wanted to report the case of a missing person. However, they were received with closed doors at the police station. You can see them leaving the place disappointed.

Police officers arrested for theft

In another story, Short news reported on SAPS members arrested for theft.

Three members of the South African Police were arrested for allegedly committing a robbery. The officers were arrested in Welcome in the Free State on July 12. The officers, a sergeant and two constables, reportedly pulled a driver over to the side of the road and demanded he get out.
