The passengers should note that the Vande Bharat Express is a medium-distance superfast express service operated by Indian Railways. If you cancel your ticket more than 48 hours before departure, you will be charged a fixed cancellation fee per passenger:

AC 2 level/first class: Rs 200

Second class: Rs 60

If you cancel your ticket only 48 to 12 hours before departure, 25% of the total price will be deducted, plus the minimum cancellation fee.

If you have an RAC ticket or a waitlisted ticket, you can cancel it up to 30 minutes before the train’s scheduled departure for a full refund, minus an administration fee.
