Organist accompanying silent film ‘Phantom of the Opera’ in Bluefield stops by WVVA at noon!

BLUEFIELD, W.Va. (WVVA) – Saturday is the big day! Talented theater organist Tedde Gibson returns to Bluefield, West Virginia to perform alongside Phantom of the Opera.

Below is a synopsis of the film.

Gibson was born in Tacoma, Washington, but now lives in the DMV.

He began playing the piano at the age of four before learning major tones, including classical and theatrical organ.

He has performed and recorded with greats in classical, soul, jazz and gospel music, including Melba Moore, Twinkie Clark and Dorinda Clark-Cole.

Hear him perform live at the Granada, located at 537 Commerce Street in Bluefield, West Virginia, at 7:30 pm on October 12th.
