Black Ops 6 Zombies: How to Solve the Terminus Math Puzzle

One Easter Egg on the Terminus map BlackOps6 Zombies that players will likely do every game is the quest to build the free Beamsmasher Wonder Weapon. The process to obtain this new devastating weapon is quite simple, but there is one step that requires players to solve some algebra. This can be a difficult step and if you don’t want to spend Essence to get the answer, allow me to explain how to solve these equations. This guide will show players how to solve the Terminus Math Puzzle BlackOps6 Zombies.

How to solve the endpoint math puzzle in Black Ops 6 Zombies

Progress through the Beamsmasher Easter egg until you reach the point where you get the Multiphasic Resontaor item and connect it to the machine in the Research Office. At this point you need to find 3 laptops placed around the central island and turn them on. You can locate these laptops in any order and note which symbol appears on the screen and which letter is next to it. These symbols change every game of Terminus, so you will have to do this every time you play the card.

To find the “first “Y” laptop, go to the storage room outside the interrogation rooms, the area where the Quick Revive Perk Machine is located. Press and hold the interaction button to turn on the laptop.

The “Z” computer is located outside the Control Center building, the room where you find the Armory and Stamin-Up machine.

The final laptop has an “X” next to it and is located at the top of the stairs in the Docks area, under the Sea Tower.

Now that all the symbols are visible, return to the Research Office and examine the whiteboards in the back left corner of the room. There are several symbols drawn on a card on the left board. Find the symbols that appeared on the computers on the board, then combine the numbers of the column and row that the symbol aligns with, and that will give you their value. In my game used for the images in my guide, these were my values:

You will then have to do some algebra and enter these numbers into the equations written on the right whiteboard. Fortunately, these equations are the same in every game of Terminus.

• 2x + 11
• (2z + y) – 5
• | (y + z) – x |

This is all pretty simple math, especially in the first two equations. For the first equation, multiply your x-value by 2 and then add 11. For the second equation, multiply the z value by 2 and then add your y value. Take that solution and subtract 5 to find the second number. The final equation could be that some players who haven’t practiced math in a while may fall into the trap. The “|” symbols on both sides of the equation mean you need to find the absolute value. This means that if you get a negative number from the equation, you ignore the negative symbol. If it’s a positive solution, you don’t have to do any extra work and that’s just your answer. So you would add y and z together and then take that solution and subtract the x value. Find the absolute value of this solution to get the third and final number in the code.

This number will be different in each game, but the process of finding the answer is the same. I’ll lay out my solution and you can put your numbers in to find your answer.
