Jay Maidment / 20th Century Studios / MARVEL

Deadpool and Wolverine

The summer’s biggest movie hit at $1.34 billion, which claims to be the highest-grossing R-rated film ever, is joining the Marvel lineup on the otherwise family-friendly streamer. The film provides plenty of laughs amid the action and combines the funny Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) with the less easily amused Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) from another universe as they battle unscrupulous bureaucrats from the Time Variance Authority. Forget the plot (is there a plot?), this is basically a star vehicle for iconic characters that went through the box office roof.
