Volkswagen, a major car manufacturer, does remembering more than 100,000 vehicles due to exploding airbags that can cause serious injury or death, This was reported by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The driver’s side front air bag inflator may “explode” in certain VW Beetles, Beetle Convertibles, 2012-2014 Passats, 2017 Passat Wagons and 2006-2007 Passat Sedans.
