Union police arrest three persons for car burglaries and thefts

Nov. 11 – A West Side man and two juveniles are facing consequences for allegedly breaking into vehicles in Union Township last month.

Union Township police have filed charges against Nathan Santiago, 18, of Altman Road, and he is wanted on an arrest warrant. He faces five counts of conspiracy to obtain stolen property and two counts of theft, all felonies.

Both juveniles face theft charges and receive a charge of theft of property through a juvenile petition.

According to a police press release, a series of car burglaries and stolen vehicles occurred between October 14 and 29. As a result of their investigation, officers have recovered several stolen items and are working to return them to their owners. .

“The completion of this investigation is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the officers involved,” said Police Chief Mark Julian. “We remain committed to ensuring the safety and security of our community, and we will continue to aggressively prosecute individuals involved in criminal activity.”

Suspects should be considered innocent until proven guilty or tried in a court of law.
