Three people are taken to hospital after a crash on the Menands Bridge

Three people have been taken to hospital after a crash on the Menands Bridge in Troy.

The accident happened Monday evening just before 6 p.m.

One person from each car was injured and they are expected to recover, investigators said.

One driver was cited for unsafe lane changes after attempting to enter an occupied lane and crash into oncoming traffic, according to police.

According to police, all cars were towed away and the road was cleared within two hours.
