Two teens charged with murder after stabbing 13-year-old boy

Two teenagers have been charged with murder after a 13-year-old boy was stabbed to death.

Jahziah Coke, 13, died after being attacked in Oldbury, West Midlands, on Thursday.

A man in his 40s has also been charged with assisting an offender, West Midlands Police said. The two teenagers, who were arrested on Sunday, cannot be named for legal reasons.

Paying tribute to her son, Jahziah’s mother said: “Jahziah was a very polite, kind and family-oriented young man.

“He was very affectionate and always smiling. His smile lit up the room. He had a big heart.”

All three will appear in Birmingham Magistrates’ Court today.
