HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) – Today was what it should feel like for this time of year as we had highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. 59 is our average high for this time of year.

As advertised, we had a front push through Eastern Kentucky, dropping temperatures with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s, where we should be for this time of year. It certainly felt like fall today. At the time this was written, we were somewhere between 5 and 13 degrees COOLER than we were this time yesterday.

It is considerably cooler than Monday this time.(WYMT)

YOUR FIRST WARNING: ESSENTIAL RAINFALL

Rain chances will increase as we move into Wednesday evening, lasting all day Thursday and leaving Friday morning. This is ahead of another front that will move through, dropping temperatures from the mid 60s on Wednesday, and back to the mid to upper 50s for Thursday and Friday. Some places could see as much as an inch of rain when all is said and done.
