Tuscaloosa man killed in car crash in Greene County

GREENE COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) — A Tuscaloosa man died Monday evening after a single-vehicle crash in Greene County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said 54-year-old Medford M. Taylor was fatally injured when the 2023 Jeep Wrangler he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.

The crash happened around 7:50 p.m. on Interstate 59 near the 27 mile marker, about five miles north of Epes.

Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene.
