Housewife dies by suicide allegedly due to harassment in Attapur-Telangana Today

The family members of the victim, Siddeshwari, told the police that the woman was harassed over petty issues due to which she fell into depression.

Hyderabad: A housewife died by suicide at her home in Attapur, allegedly due to harassment from husband and in-laws.

Siddeshwari (22) had married Praveen, a private employee, a few months ago.

On Tuesday, Praveen came home from work to find the front door locked from the inside and his wife not answering his calls.

Praveen who broke open the door and went inside found Siddeshwari hanging from the ceiling fan in a room.

On information, police reached the spot and took the body to the mortuary for post-mortem examination.

Siddeshwari’s family members told police that the woman was harassed over petty issues, which pushed her into depression.
