Mayor announces city under boil water order

TUCKERMAN, Ark. (KAIT) – A Jackson County town has been placed under a boil water order.

Tuckerman Mayor Zach Graham told K8 News the city has been placed under a boil water order.

The boil order affects customers in the city of Tuckerman and North Jackson County water.

Graham said maintenance work had been carried out on one of the plants. He added that the outage had lasted longer than expected.

The mayor said the boil water order was issued “out of an abundance of caution.”

Graham asked any customers with questions or concerns to contact City Hall.
