Pickleball facility in Henderson announces opening date

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A long-awaited pickleball facility in West Henderson is finally opening.

Chicken N Pickle, located near St. Rose Parkway and Maryland Parkway, will celebrate its grand opening on Tuesday, November 19.

It is the first location in Nevada, joining eleven other locations that have opened since 2017. The concept includes investors such as NFL stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

Chicken N Pickle has a three-acre, multi-level facility with pickleball courts, restaurants, a sports bar, a dog park and yard games.

“We are committed to remaining the best-in-class pickleball entertainment destination as we expand nationally, without sacrificing a personal touch and local connections in every market,” Dave Johnson, founder of Chicken N Pickle, said in a statement. “Each of our facilities attracts more than 650,000 visitors annually, so we are confident Chicken N Pickle will become a popular attraction in Henderson.”

The venue plans to offer a “Grand Opening Week” of events through November 24, including open pickleball, giveaways, raffles and more. More details about the festivities can be found here.
