Heartbreaking Incident in Rohini: 3-Year-Old Allegedly Raped

In a heartbreaking incident that shocked the community, a three-year-old girl was allegedly raped while she was sleeping beside her mother in Rohini. Officials reported the matter on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old accused has been apprehended by the police, who have initiated a thorough investigation into the disturbing event. Authorities revealed that a call concerning the incident had been received at the Begumpur police station.

According to a senior police official, the victim’s mother noticed her daughter was missing from the cot and later found her in nearby bushes with a young man present, who fled upon seeing her. Based on the mother’s statement, an FIR was filed under sections 65(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and section 6 of the POCSO Act at Begumpur police station.
