I-10 main road closed near Tucson after vehicle rolled and caught fire

TUCSON, AZ (13 News/AZFamily) – A highway is partially closed in both directions north of Tucson after a vehicle rolled and caught fire in a crash overnight.

First responders responded to the scene of a single-vehicle crash that rolled over near I-10 in the Marana area Tuesday evening.

The Marana Police Department said the I-10 frontage road is closed in both directions from Cochise Canyon to Missile Base.

The Northwest Fire District said one person was taken to hospital by helicopter.

There is no specific date for the road to reopen. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
