A woman who visited the gym on Monday morning told WTR a foul odor spread through the building before the body was found in the tanning bed.

“The tanning bed has a door, I believe, but still, why aren’t we concerned that the tanning bed may have been closed for three days?” said Elizabeth Len.

The gym closes at 9:00 PM on Friday and is open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. according to its website.

Sink’s family told the local station that their loved one had been dealing with drug problems and that there was a needle in the room at Planet Fitness.

An ankle monitor worn by Sink helped authorities determine where he had been, an aunt reportedly said.

His relatives remembered him as a loving person.
