Rt. 8 reopened after the Thomaston crash

THOMASTON, Conn. (WFSB) – A one-vehicle crash closed portions of Route 8 in Thomaston early Wednesday morning.

The collision was reported on the south side of the highway between exits 39 and 38 at approximately 10:42 p.m.

Troop L confirmed injuries were sustained, although the extent of those injuries remains unclear.

The highway was open again around 5 a.m
