Bradford County sheriff leads chase after shooting threat

STARKE, Fla. (WCJB) – Bradford County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man Tuesday evening for threatening to shoot people and take them on a chase.

Authorities say Jonathan Bass threatened a woman and another victim with a gun near Southeast 51st Loop in Hampton around 5 p.m.

Bass fled into the woods when officers arrived. As a result, their K-9 unit was deployed. Bass were eventually found hiding in some bushes a short time later.
