Cash reward offered after New Jersey woman’s body found in Alabama

BESSEMER, Ala. (WBRC) – The mother of a New Jersey woman whose body was found on the side of the road in Alabama is asking for answers as Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward.

Up to $5,000 is available to anyone with information that helps solve The case of Miyell Johnson.

The 29-year-old’s body was discovered on Mountain Road in Bessemer last month. At this time, her cause of death and last known whereabouts are unknown, according to Crime Stoppers.

Her mother, Aanissah Muhammad, is now trying to understand what happened.

She released the new statement to WBRC on Saturday.

The mother goes on to thank everyone for the love and support.
