Dell Scott’s NYFW Collection Inspired Me to Live Boldly

In a crowded art gallery in New York City’s upscale Tribeca neighborhood, a Black designer (Dell Scott of the Dell Scott Collection) bared her heart through fashion. The author/entrepreneur unveiled her Spring/Summer 2025 “Prism” collection, and the bold colors and shiny fabrics tell a story of boldness and lifestyle.

Dell Scott’s designs are a unique blend of glamour, fierceness and elegance, which set her apart in the fashion world. Like her previous ones, her latest collection is a testament to her unique style. The majestic models confidently showcased their dazzling outfits, each piece perfect for a New Year’s Eve party, cocktail party or bridesmaid dress. The collection is the result of a perfect blend of creativity and hard work, a hallmark of Dell Scott’s designs.

The Dell Scott SS25 Collection

Sequined sweaters, tulle dresses and whimsical tops strutted down the runway, leaving room for cheers and exclamations of delight from fashion enthusiasts. Scott’s feminine designs and elaborate embellishments are ideal for the sophisticated man who combines luxury with pleasure.

At the end of the show, Scott strutted down the runway in a lime green satin pant suit that matched her “Prism” theme. The designer paused at the end of her runway to offer a few words of gratitude and inspiration. “Every season brings new inspirations and challenges, and this season in particular, the name of the collection is ‘Prism – an explosion of color,’” she shared. The designer encouraged her audience to “live life to the fullest. That’s what this collection meant to me. Live every day like it’s your last, and never take a day for granted.”
