Euclid Council Committee to Meet on Parental Responsibility Bill

Euclid Council Committee to Meet on Parental Responsibility Bill

EUCLID, Ohio — A Euclid City Council committee will meet Wednesday night to discuss a proposal that would allow police to charge parents if their child commits certain crimes.

The parental responsibility bill, introduced in July and referred to the council’s public safety committee, would make it a crime for parents or guardians to knowingly fail to supervise a child in their care.
