Mentor Public Library presenting Harry Potter-inspired program for children

Kids ages 8 to 12 can enjoy a magical afternoon at Mentor Public Library during their day off from school on Oct. 11.

The library is hosting a program called “Back to Hogwarts — Muggle Mayhem” on 1 pm at its Main Branch, 8215 Mentor Ave. The young wizards will enjoy games, crafts and snacks with a Harry Potter theme, according to a news release.

The program is free to attend, but due to limited space, registration is required. Sign up at www.mentorpl.org or by calling the library at 440-255-8811 ext. 3.

The activities are designed for children who are 8 to 12 years old and parents should not sign up children outside of that age range, the release stated.
