Target Hiring 100,000 Seasonal Workers Ahead of Holiday Season

Target is hiring 100,000 workers ahead of the holiday shopping season to meet upcoming demands.

The company announced Monday that it is looking to fill seasonal positions in stores and warehouses, “including customer advisors, greeters, fulfillment experts, general merchandising experts, food and beverage experts and style consultants.”

The majority of open positions will be in Target retail stores, and applications for these seasonal positions will open September 25, 2024.

Target said interested candidates can apply for open positions at TargetSeasonalJobs.com after Wednesday, September 25.

These seasonal hires will be able to take advantage of Target’s current employee benefits, which include “an industry-leading starting salary (starting salary range of $15 to $24 per hour), health and wellness benefits, growth and development opportunities, flexible schedules, merchandise discounts and more, plus the chance to experience Target’s vibrant culture.

Target is the latest company to announce seasonal positions, joining other retailers such as Aldi, which also announced it would hire 13,000 employees with pay starting at $23 an hour.
