Best Young Midfielders in EA FC 25

In EA FC, you have a wide range of midfielder profiles at your disposal. There’s the tough number six, the versatile player, the speed merchant, the winger turned CAM, and many more.

It takes all sorts to create a world, and in this case, a world-class team on your PlayStation. Just like in real life, midfielders come in all shapes and sizes, and there’s simply no point in trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.

Finding talent is hard enough, but securing the next generation of elite midfielders is even harder. Recruiting young talent can be critical to long-term success in EA FC 25, as any seasoned Career Mode specialist knows all too well.

So, to save you some work, here are the best young players aged 23 and under in EA FC 25 who can play in midfield based on confirmed ratings, leaks and rumors.

We’re including any player in EA FC 25 who can play in midfield (CDM, CM and CAM) as a starting or substitute position, meaning we have some absolute crackers available.

Unsurprisingly, it is Jude Bellingham The oldest midfielder aged 23 or under, with the Real Madrid star rising to 90th this year. The upgrade is well-deserved after a sensational 2023/24 season with Real Madrid that saw him win La Liga and the Champions League. There could also be a Ballon d’Or on the horizon.

The Bundesliga is home to the most promising young midfielders Florian Wirtz (88) and Jamal Musiala (87). The two international teammates both enjoyed prosperous seasons with Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich respectively, but it was Wirtz who was crowned the division’s player of the season.

Barcelona also boast two of football’s brightest stars. Pedri is rated 86 in EA FC 25, the exact same rating as last year, while Gavi has been given a new rating of 83 after an injury hit the club in 2023/24. Real Madrid’s rivals Eduardo Camavinga also arrives at 83.

The Premier League and, unsurprisingly, Chelsea boast some of the best up-and-coming midfielders around. Cole Palmer (85), Enzo Fernandez (82) and Moses Caicedo (82) are all among the top 20 highest-rated young midfielders, while new Manchester United signing Manuel Ugarte sneaks in with a score of 81.

Of course, there are also exceptional talents in women’s football. The most promising is Chelsea Lauren James who, while rightly classified as a winger, can play in the CAM. She is rated 86 and is accompanied by her club teammate Sjoeke Nusken (81) in the top 20.

In her first appearance in EA FC as a Bayern Munich player, Lena Oberdorf shows a score of 86, with her new teammate Klara Buhl was at 83 in total. The two Lyon midfielders Melchie Dumornay and the star of Barcelona Claudia Pina also have 83 ratings.
