Two key Colts players ‘doubtful’ ahead of Bears game

Center Ryan Kelly, Pittman and offensive tackle Braden Smith also didn’t play. However, head coach Shane Steichen hinted at a day off for Kelly, but Smith’s knee soreness. Receiver Pittman also dealt with similar issues to Smith.

IndyStarJoel A. Erickson posted on X:

“Michael Pittman Jr. is dealing with a back and calf injury, but the Colts don’t think he’s likely to miss the game against the Bears. The same goes for Braden Smith, who has been dealing with knee soreness.

Ryan Kelly was on a day off for the vets.

It looks like Latu could be a late game decision.

The Colts are hoping Latu and Pittman are ready to play against the Bears with so much on the line. After two straight losses to start 2024, the Colts’ playoff chances are already slim. We’ll see if Latu and Pittman can put it all together and be ready for Sunday afternoon, with the rest of the roster ready for battle.
