Gigi Hadid returns to the catwalks for Versace

Gigi Hadid made a return to the runway this fashion month for the brand she has represented for years: Versace.

One of Donatella Versace’s muses was convinced to get back in the saddle, like her sister Bella Hadid, on Friday, September 20 in Milan for the luxury brand’s spring/summer 2025 show at the Castello Sforzesco. The model has not yet walked in September. Hadid came to Milan Fashion Week exclusively for Versace and walked in a floral midi dress with a furrow on one shoulder.

Her pronounced honey blonde bob offset the whimsical movement of the ’70s-inspired dress as she walked with the expert precision of a model down the runway.

Hadid held a black handbag at her side and strutted in orange tights and nude heels in the front row of A-list guests, including Channing Tatum and K-pop star Hyunjin.

Gigi Hadid wore this dress for Versace, after working with the Italian brand for several years. Versace seems to be the only fashion house that can pull Hadid out of her quiet life with her four-year-old daughter, Khai. The model celebrated her young daughter’s birthday just a day before she left for Milan, sharing a carousel of photos on Instagram and a heartfelt caption.

“Khai, it is the greatest joy and pride of my life to be your mom!!!! Thank you for the best four years of my life, you remind me to live life to the fullest every day, in the simplest and most beautiful way,” Hadid wrote.

Hadid has appeared on several Versace runways and has worn the brand’s custom-made looks to major events, including the Met Gala. Her long, voluminous red coat at the 2022 Met Gala was stunning.

The rest of the Versace show was a mix of florals and patterns that used similar colors to Hadid’s printed dress. The blues, oranges, browns, and a touch of muted gold were heavily inspired by the ’70s fashion era translated into the modern era.
