“Buried Alive and Survived” is inspired by the true story of a woman buried alive by her ex and miraculously escapes before searching for her son who she believes could be next.

According to a description of the film by Lifetime, “Alicia knows she must do whatever it takes to keep her abusive ex-husband away from her and their son when he is released from prison. Victor manages to find and confront Alicia and demands that they get back together. She refuses, and before she knows it, she finds herself underground with layers of dirt piled on top of her.”

After heroically managing to escape the tomb that Victor thought she could never escape, she begins her search for her son Malcolm, who she knows is not safe as long as Victor is nearby and alive, according to Lifetime.

The film stars Eva Marcelle, Tyler Lepley, Jaeden White, Christie Laverette and Cocoa Brown.
