Woman shot in hip in Atlanta drive-by shooting

ATLANTA – An Atlanta woman was shot and killed in a road rage incident Saturday night, police said.

Authorities say the incident happened just after 11 p.m. in a commercial area along Bakers Ferry Road SW.

The victim, identified as a 41-year-old female passenger, was shot by another driver in a shooting incident police believe was caused by road rage.

No arrests have been reported yet. The Serious Assault Unit is investigating the case.
