“The character of the Sugar Fairy is known around the world for her captivating solo performance, impeccably timed to Tchaikovsky’s celebrated composition The dance of the Sugar Fairy” reads the website.

“Beautiful, loyal and kind, the Sugar Fairy ruled over the Prince’s wintry kingdom, populated by sweets and candies, after a magical spell turned him into a wooden nutcracker soldier.”

The coin weighs 1 oz and is made of 99.9 percent pure silver. On the back, the character wears a pink dress and matching ballet shoes, while her purple fairy wings certainly add a touch of magic. The obverse features a portrait of the late Queen Elizabeth.
