Jalen Ngonda announces first Australian tour

An extremely talented R&B and soul artist, Jalen Ngonda will tour Australia for the first time this summer.

Ngonda’s first tour of Australia stops in Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth in January.

Ngonda’s music captured the energy of a new wave of artists who merged a clear love of classic soul music with a refreshed vision of where their presentation can move things forward.

First album Come and love me has been critically acclaimed.

Not only was this Ngonda’s first official release via iconic label Daptone Records, but it also put him on more radars around the world.

The first thing that captivates the listener is Ngonda’s voice: smooth and infused with soul, it’s an imitable quality for an artist of this genre. With a voice that seems as timeless as it is emotional, it’s hard to lose her.

So far, for Ngonda, this has proven true.

Having spent the last few years developing an impressive live reputation at festivals such as Glastonbury, as well as touring with Ms Lauryn Hill, Ngonda’s profile is cementing with a rapidly growing fan base.

We will be welcome to join his group when he arrives on the East Coast to begin his Australian tour in Brisbane in January.

Tickets will go on sale from 12:00pm AEST on Thursday 26 September, with a pre-sale starting at 1:00pm AEST on Wednesday 25 September.
