Senator Johnnie Turner's Recovery Update

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WYMT) – Sen. Johnnie Turner is recovering from an incident on September 15.

He recently underwent his first physiotherapy assessment and is still in intensive care with some pain.

Senator Turner’s family is pleased with his progress since the incident and is in good spirits regarding his recovery journey.

A Senate majority spokesperson provided an update on Sen. Turner’s health on Wednesday, saying:

Senator Turner represents District 29, which includes Bell, Floyd, Harlan, Knott and Letcher counties.
