The Yard Theatre Announces SEAYONCE’S PERKY NATIVITITTIES Christmas Celebration

This year, the Yard Theatre, a popular venue for alternative Christmas celebrations, will be bigger and chattier than ever as Séayoncé returns to the stage to perform his Perky Nativititties from December 4 (press night December 9).

Fresh from a US tour and a smash hit Edinburgh show, Dan Wye’s legendary comedy creation is back by popular demand. This year, Séayoncé pulls out all the stops to deliver the country’s most outrageous Christmas special – a festive classic that promises to catapult even the most angelic souls straight onto Santa’s naughty list and plunge them headfirst into the spirit of the fist!

The majestic mystic Séayoncé and her merry accomplice Leslie-Ann (aka Robyn Herfellow) present the only gift you won’t need a receipt for, so get those chimneys ready for this dastardly duo to come and empty their big bags!

Dan Wye is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist and one of the country’s most prominent comedy and cabaret performers. As the creator of the critically-whispered ghost character Séayoncé, their work has taken them to some of the most acclaimed arts venues and festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe, Glastonbury, Soho Theatre, Underbelly Festival, The Globe, National Theatre and Royal Opera House. As well as internationally at The Public Theatre in New York, The Elysian Theatre in Los Angeles, Adelaide and Melbourne Fringe Festival, Sydney World Pride and The Palace in Poland. Their work has seen them collaborate with some of the biggest names in comedy and cabaret and bring queer performance to the mainstream.

Panty-less rebel Robyn Herfellow brings joy and chaos to the cabaret as Leslie-Ann, Séayoncé’s murderous, man-hating pianist. Wreaking havoc in the musical, they spark the lingerie revolution with their butt-kicking notes. Once a jazz pianist, Robyn is now a deadly instrument in the fishnet apocalypse.

So, get ready to have your bells jingle with joy by award-winning and critically acclaimed singer Séayoncé as she sings twisted Christmas carols, summons mischievous Christmas spirits, and leads you into blasphemous and joyous Christmas games! There’s always room at Séayoncé’s Inn, just remember to wipe your clogs and heels before you enter.
