It was a big week for priests, Sabrina Carpenter and the mayor of New York. But would you believe they are all connected?

While the little pop star was throwing it Short and sweet tour and this sexy priest was competing DangerMayor Eric Adams was indicted after weeks of mass resignations and investigations into his administration.

On Thursday, the 64-year-old politician was indicted on five federal public corruption charges “related to bribery, wire fraud, conspiracy and solicitation of campaign contributions from foreign nationals,” according to CNN.

But where do godly men and the Espresso singer figure into all this?

Well, like The New York Post revealed, an investigation into Adams and his ex-chief of staff Frank Carone’s shady dealings came to light after Sabrina Carpenter went to church.

But it’s a long story – so keep it up!

It all started when Carpenter released his bloody, horror-inspired and, unexpectedly, exciting music video “Feather” in October 2023. (A certified bop, by the way!)

In the clip, the singer struts around in a colorful collection of skimpy outfits, oblivious to a group of persistent suitors who are getting fucked at the Final destination.

Naturally, this culminates with her dancing without pants next to an array of pastel-colored coffins (including one reading “RIP b*tch”) lining the ornate 19th-century altar at the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Brooklyn.

It all seemed too hot for church, and apparently it was.

After it was released, “dismayed” diocesan officials wrote a statement denouncing the “provocative” video, saying Bishop Jamie Gigantiello — who approved the filming — had not followed “diocesan policy” and would be demoted. Oops !

Furthermore, the faithful were so outraged that they organized a mass to restore “the sanctity of (the) church” and repair “the harm” caused by Carpenter’s impeccable legs. (Oh, my brother!)

Nevertheless, the devil remained dormant until September 2024, when federal investigators issued a subpoena to the church “requesting information regarding possible relationships” between disgraced pastor Gigantiello and Mr. Frank Carone, Who East was running Adams’ re-election campaign.

But where did the feds get the information? According to The post officethe priest’s ties to Adams’ office first surfaced as part of an “internal church investigation into the Carpenter clip.”

Diocese officials said it would be “inappropriate to comment further” on the subpoena. Yet they said The post office they are “fully committed to cooperating with law enforcement.”

Basically, they’re still mad at Gigantiello and can’t wait for him to burn alongside Adams and his entourage. How’s that for petty?!

Although the full extent of Adams’ accusation and the investigation into Gigantiello have not yet been revealed, we are proud of Sabrina for doing her part to end the corruption. (Even if she did it without knowing it.)

Yet if the Catholic Church was scandalized by “Plume,” it will. hate that girl-on-girl kiss in Carpenter’s new music video for “Taste.”

But as the singer said in response to the whole scandal: “Jesus was a carpenter.”

Watch.
