Driver Arrested and Charged with Human Trafficking Tells Officer He Was Offered Money to Transport Immigrants

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – After a man allegedly admitted to knowing he was transporting undocumented immigrants, he told a DPS trooper he was offered money to transport them.

José Antonio Quintanilla, a Laredo resident, was arrested and charged with seven counts of human trafficking.

The arrest took place on Tuesday, September 24, when a police officer arrested Quintanilla here in Webb County.

The seven undocumented immigrants found were handed over to border guards.
