Chiefs’ Travis Kelce receives emotional message from Jason amid slow start

Chiefs’ Travis Kelce receives emotional message from Jason amid slow start

The Kansas City Chiefs don’t have to worry about locker room complaints due to the mediocre statistics of their championship core.

The support systems in place take care of any Taylor Swift-sized calamities aggravating the Chiefs, like loose balls or missed blocks. Respected voices from outside the building sometimes chime in as well, which is good for Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes. They’ll take any help they can get to keep a “trash” Travis Kelce calm for the NFL playoffs.

Brotherly bonds don’t break easily and one of the best brotherly moments of the season took place on the show New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce. Fans got to watch Travis listened to an emotional message from brother Jason during a recent podcast episode.

“It will go your way, especially if you continue to be the guy you’ve always been.” There’s no one I’ve played sports with and no one I’ve ever been on a team with that would have liked being out there more with (Travis). It’s frustrating for me to watch and have to listen but I can’t wait (for it to change),” Jason shared.

“I appreciate it, brother. And if we don’t, as long as we’re winning football games, we’re good to go, baby,” Travis joked.

Travis Kelce has just a paltry eight receptions for 69 yards in three games. This is usually the result after three trimesters. A slow start to the season is a small problem, however. The Chiefs are 3-0 after all and their stars aren’t all on the same page yet. Being ready to perform on the biggest stage is the priority. At least one former Chiefs quarterback isn’t making doubters sweat this early in the season.

Chase Daniel made millions of dollars working with the clipboard while others went out and played. Make no mistake, Daniel is a Super Bowl champion who has won NFL games with a 68% completion percentage. He knows what makes an offense work, even if some talented players aren’t getting touches.

Daniel knows that great moments will come throughout a 17-game season. It’s all about preparation at the moment and no one doubts Kelce in Kansas City.

“Opportunities come to superstars,” Daniel said during an appearance on “The Facility.” “I know for a fact, a reliable source told me that when Travis is on the road at these places (supporting Taylor Swift at events), he brings a gym on the road. He has a trainer. He has a massage therapist. He’s doing what you can do in the offseason while being on the road supporting his girlfriend.

Few defensive coordinators doubt Kelce either. The tight end doesn’t do much damage individually, but Kelce continues the dirty work opening up space for others. Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy are just two of the most recent beneficiaries.

“I talked to a few defensive coordinators about it because I want to know from their perspective,” Daniel shared. “We can sit here and say whatever we want about the condition of Travis Kelce. Has he lost a step? Is he too distracted? Each of the defensive coordinators who played Travis Kelce, the number one thing they start the week with? Stopping Travis Kelce. The entire defensive game plan is to take out Travis Kelce. I went back to check and sure enough, he was being overtaken. He gets followed around the corners. No security. Not the linebackers. Corners.

Fantasy Football owners should stay patient in the pocket, as should Patrick Mahomes, if Kelce is on their roster.

“It’s all about Kelce. (Defensive coordinators) are trying to take out Travis Kelce,” Daniels continued. “I think in the next few games you’ll see Kelce get more targets…”
